Dear Folks,

If anybody needs me right now I can be found here; devoting body and soul to running a booth where I am responsible for a veritable mountain of art supplies, a hundred or more used vinyl records, fifteen giant masonite boards,  five to seven graffiti artists, myriad IDs and credentials and tickets and permissions and such, and twenty 13 - 16 year-olds trying to stay hydrated in the 95-degree desert heat.

If you do stop by, no need to offer to bring me sustenance, thanks- I'm reliably exhibiting the anxiety-induced anorexia I develop whenever I get involved with big events like this. You can, however, FEEL FREE to bring me CAFFEINE. Any form will do, but if you happen to be at the Coffee Garden they make a brilliant iced foamy soy latte with a teeny bit of coconut syrup, if you know what I mean ;-)

But if you do visit, make it by the end of tomorrow, okay? After that Stan and I are off to Island Park, Idaho for Family Reunion to hang out with/cook brunch for 40 or so relatives on my mother's side. It's going to be great- I can't wait to hang out with a batch of people so deeply, almost weirdly, like me. Actually very weirdly like me in that many of the ways we are most alike are the many ways in which we are weird.

Anyway I'm overjoyed to go be with the fam, but I'd hate to miss your smiling face so swing by the Festival for a fond hello tomorrow, eh? Oh- and the sixteen ounce latte will be perfect, thank you. Can't wait to see you there!
